Become Hospital Qualified
Hospitals have a responsibility to their patients both legally and ethically to rigorously credential the doctors having access and caring for their patients. As chiropractic is breaking that “glass ceiling” through outcome based, peer reviewed indexed studies showing evidence that chiropractic is superior to other modalities for mechanical spine pain (no fracture, tumor or infection), more and more opportunities are presenting themselves for doctors of chiropractic to excel and concurrently increase necessary utilization.
As a result, we have created a standard of minimum competency, combining chiropractic and medical academia with professional institution oversight to ensure that the highest standards are met, thereby protecting the public in hospital settings.
Our program is credentialed through Cleveland University-Kansas City, Chiropractic and Health Sciences to meet the basic requirements many hospital by-laws have. Although some hospital systems require medically recognized qualifications, many of the programs in this qualification have been recognized through the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education in conjunction with the State University of New York at Buffalo, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
This level of oversight certifies to the hospital that this credentialed doctor of chiropractic is expert in both acute and chronic spine care with graduate training in pathology and triage in the hospital setting. Cleveland University-Kansas City, Chiropractic and Health Sciences and the Academy of Chiropractic will be concurrently overseeing the credentialing process from an academic standpoint to ensure that rigorous standards are being met.

NOTE: This is a 2-Year qualifying credential and you must be re-credentialed every 2 years. The last 3 “*” course must be re-done every 2 years.
* 10-12 Are done in any Primary Spine Care Course
Additional Requirements:
1. Active and valid chiropractic license
2. Active malpractice policy naming the CMCS Management, Inc. DBA Academy of Chiropractic and Cleveland University at Kansas City Chiropractic College as additional insured triage trauma patients.
